Dr.Jill Biden,the second lady of U.S.visited our school on Thursday,25th July.She was accompanied by her daughter,Ashley.

A bunch of school girls welcomed Ms.Biden  by playing the band.There after she visited the computer room which was set up by the grant received from the American center in 2004.She observed an English Grammer lesson in Std.X & interacted with the students

Then she was taken to the auditorium,where she was welcomed by the president of Anjuman-I-Islam,Dr.Zahir Kazi and Heads of schools in the campus.He solicitated her presence by offering her a bouquet of flowers and a short speech.

Dr.Biden addressed the students and motivated them to study.She said that education is a powerful weapon.She praised the students for their focus on education urging them to draw inspiration from the courage and confidence of Malala Yousafzai,the Pakistani teenager.

She departed by giving a hamper of books and dictionary for the school library and golden memories.
